It was sad not to see anyone had signed the guest book yet so thought I'd say congratulations and that I am with you in my prayers and love for our new little girl. Ethan says he saw a baby girl from China and he thinks they are cute so he thinks his sister will e cute and that's good enough for me. Lots of love, Mom |

This is truly awesome news. She will most definitely be Princess Grace in this family of five men. Thank you so much for allowing me to share this incredible journey with you as you proceed to bring this precious little one into your family. One of the most amazing testimonies I've ever heard was that of an Amerasian child (now adult) who became the adopted child of Pearl Buck. As an adult she became aware of the grace of God and His love for her and she accepted His gift of salvation. Her humble presentation of her life story and the beautiful way she expressed her love for the Lord will remain with me always. Our family prayer chain will be updated in a few weeks and at that time each family will be adding a new addition to the family tree........Mark & Sharon's little one for the Fleet family, our little Fiona Rose Groschopp and now we will add little Grace to the D'Andre family. It will be an honor to pray for her and for your immediate and extended families as you await this most anticipated new addition. Love, Peggy |

It's great to read about the Fitzpatrick's wonderful journey of faith and love! Thanks for inviting me into this. I'm looking forward to reading about the wonderful ways in which God brings you guys together with this new member of your family. I'll be praying that He work in such powerful ways that when all is said and done people who hear about the story won't be able to do anything but give glory to Him and rejoice in His love for your family and this new baby Grace. |

What wonderful news... thank you for sharing this with me! It is always a tremendous blessing to see real, genuine demonstrations of God's love, and I trust that the Lord himself will bless you richly with patience, strength, and grace as you embark on this incredible journey. I am so encouraged by the faithful manner in which you have hearkened to the Lord's call to open your arms and your heart to baby Grace. And I pray that as you do so that the Lord in like manner will continue to open His arms to you; to embrace you; to put your hands in His; and to lead your growing family along this path that he has lovingly chosen just for you. |

Dear Grace, This is November 24, 2005 and we in America are celebrating Thanksgiving Day. This day is set aside to remember all the good things God has given. As we give thanks, we will do so with gratitude that you have been born, we will get to know your special ways, gifts and abilities and be thankful for your life. In the coming days, you will see how specially God chose your Mom and Dad and brothers. Your mom is not only pretty but capable as a teacher. She is compassionate and wise. Your Dad has a great sense of humor and knows how to make peace. He is a good leader. Together they will give you a secure home. Each of the boys will love, protect, and enjoy you. It seems fitting to give a prayer with a verse from 1Thessalonians 5:18 I pray that Grace will give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for her in Christ Jesus. Aunt Ruthann |

Dear Sharon, Pat and boys, When I received your Christmas card I was thrilled to read about your upcoming adoption! I actually got goosebumps! How thrilling that God is giving you a little girl to love and take into your home and hearts. And grandma D. will have a granddaughter to spoil and buy cute pink clothes! What a blessing you will be to her and her to you. I will pray for little Grace and for all of you as you eagerly await her arrival. And you are right-God will make a way with the money as you are honoring Him in obedience to his word. I will be watching from here in CT. We'll talk at Christmas time. I miss you Sharon! Love from your friend and sister in Christ, Debbie |

Dear Grace, My greetings and prayer for you around the time of your birth: Although I have only met your mom and brothers a time or two, I have known your Dad since he was in grade school or younger!! My family, consisting of my wife, Cheri, and my 8 children rejoice in the fact that you have already been picked by our Great God to be able to join such a wonderful family who knows and loves that Great God. May His hands especially be wrapped around you tightly these next months to protect you and prepare you for the wonderful day when you will be united with them. May you grow up to love God with all of your heart and to seek Him with all that is within you!! Although we don't know you yet, we love you, because our Father in Heaven deeply loves you! Say "hi" to your family for us and encourage them to come visit us in Michigan some time. I will show you how to milk cows!! John Kresge for the family |

Dear Sharon & Pat, I am so excited for you both and for your boys! But, mostly, I'm excited for precious Baby Grace who will be blessed upon measure to be adopted into your family - preselected by God - to be raised to know our Lord and Savior as her own. What FUN awaits her too! I will pray for her; for her birth mother who may not have given birth to her yet or yet had to go through the pain of giving her up; for her health; for the orphanage and those who are caring for her; and for each of you as you prepare your hearts and home for her arrival. I look forward to following your journey to Grace! By the way, Kelly is a GREAT middle name for her!! Grace Kelly!! See??? Sounds wonderful!! ;o) Much love, Kelly |

Pat, Sharon, and Kids, 23 years ago, Anne and our then 7 year-old daughter, Bonnie, went to the Minneapolis International Airport to receive a 3 year old girl, Anjalee, from India. We even had "adopted" grandmother with us because we wanted the girls to have nearby grandparent figures in their lives. It had taken us nearly two years of red tape. We still celebrate the date Anjalee arrived each year. I was so encouraged to hear from Pat that your family is adopting a Chinese girl! I will check in to see how your progress is going. That 7 year old Bonnie became a teacher who taught for four years in China. Anjalee graduated with a major in video production and has a heart for international adopted children. Blessings on your family! Dennis |

Hi Sharon and Pat - I'm in receipt of your Christmas 2006 letter and now have your website bookmarked. My heart aches for you as you wait for Grace 'Kelly' to arrive - but I'm so taken by the thought that God's timing is SO perfect! His timing is not our timing, but His timing is always right. I think of precious Grace and her dear birth mother. How blessed you are to be able to pray for this mother as she carries your daughter in her womb. I feel so blessed to be able to partner with you in prayer for Grace. Hang in there. My Christmas letters 2005 and 2006 will be on their way in the mail this week along with explanations as to their tardiness (yes, I did say 2005). Better late than never, right? Same with Grace's arrival! She'll be worth the wait! Much love!! |

Dear Sharon and Pat, So glad to read the report that you are once again moving forward and one more item of red tape is out of the way. It is exciting to know that who picks up your report and how that is passed along to others is over seen by our God. We are happy for you in this latest step. |

Dear Sharon, Pat and BOYS! Thanks for keeping us posted on this site. I think of you often (especially with our common bond of boy life)! Our visit to your home in June of 06 was the highlight of our family visit to NC. The boys value that day more than any other part of the trip! I think I agree. We look forward with you to the day when Grace can know the beauty and warmth of your home. It is really nice to be able to visualize that pink room waiting for her. How rich your understanding of waiting for our Lord's return and our heavenly home may be growing in this time! Sharon, you--and your immediate and extended family--are a gift from God in my life, deeply valued and treasured. Laura Burdo |

Dearest Sharon ~ God loves us so much! TODAY I thought of the Fitzpatricks and lifted up prayers for you and your journey to Grace -- and here, just hours later, is your update! God is holding you close and those that love you ~ and already love Grace ~ are lifting you up when you are not even aware. I know the waiting game is so hard. Still, God's timing is always perfect. He has a special Gotcha' Day all planned out for you and Grace. What a day of celebration that will be! :o) Much love to the Fitzpatricks clan. |

One thing is for sure, you are a special design made by an all wise God. We look forward to getting to know you and the time gets sooner with every month that passes. Aunt Ruthann |

Hello Pat and Sharon! It has been forever (over a year I am certain), since we have heard anything--was actually assuming that the process had been stopped. Then this email from the CaringBridge journal. Great to hear, and so sorry for the long wait. Keep on keeping on for our great Lord!! I should know this, but is Grace a baby yet to be born, or is she already one you have "met" and are waiting for? For Him John Kresge |
